DRAFT - Mopar Service Gateway

DRAFT // myKaarma - Stellantis MSG Integration // DRAFT

Pull Stellantis Mopar Service Gateway data straight into myKaarma Scheduler+ and Mobile Check-In — vehicle info, DTCs, warranty coverage, service contracts, service history, and open customer cases, all in one place.

What is this feature?

This feature lets your service team quickly pull Stellantis Mopar Service Gateway (MSG) data via integration into the myKaarma Scheduler+ and Mobile Check-In Tool. MSG data is populated on the scheduled appointment, and by “podding” the vehicle and connecting the VIN, advisors can instantly access vehicle info, pod info, diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), warranty coverage, service contracts, service history, and open customer cases at the time of customer check-in.

Why it matters

The problem

Service Advisors and BDC team members have no detail into MSG data on scheduled appointments unless leaving myKaarma.

The impact

At the time of booking and when managing appointments, the team can now review open contracts and vehicle history directly in the myKaarma Scheduler.

The problem

Service advisors lack quick, unified access to detailed OEM vehicle data and history during customer check-in.

The impact

Advisors can access all key Stellantis MSG data in one place for better conversations, quicker check-ins, and proactive handling of customer cases and warranty items.

The problem

Manually checking warranty info, service contracts, and DTCs in multiple systems slows intake and frustrates customers.

The impact

Auto-populating OEM data from the Mopar Service Gateway saves time, boosts accuracy, and enhances the customer experience by providing instant vehicle-side insights.

How it works — Mobile Check-In

Start here — this is the podding-based flow most teams need help with first.

Podding a Stellantis vehicle with the myKaarma pod device

Step 1

“Pod” the vehicle before starting Mobile Check-In. This step is essential — it transmits the podded vehicle data to the Mopar Service Gateway.

Appointment Ledger with VIN scan and search options

Step 2

Go to your Appointment Ledger and select the customer's appointment, or scan/input the VIN to find or create an appointment.

Verifying the vehicle VIN is linked to the customer profile

Step 3

Verify that the vehicle's VIN is linked to the customer profile. If it is not, use “Scan VIN” or the search function to add it.

Starting the Mobile Check-In process

Step 4

Once the vehicle is podded, initiate the Mobile Check-In process for the customer.

OEM DATA button on the check-in screen

Step 5

On the check-in screen, tap the “OEM DATA” button located near the top left corner.

Expanded list of Stellantis MSG data on the check-in screen

Step 6

A comprehensive list of Stellantis MSG data will display. Expand sections to review Vehicle Information, Pod Data, DTCs, Warranty Coverage, Service Contracts, Service History, and any open Customer Cases.

FAQ

Please ensure that you have “podded” the vehicle first. Podding is necessary to transmit the vehicle data to the Mopar Service Gateway, allowing updated information to be retrieved during check-in.
